The Sales Analyst or Sales Coordinator & Admin is a pivotal role that provides critical support to the sales team and ensures smooth coordination of sales operations and administrative tasks. This position involves analysing sales data, supporting sales representatives, managing administrative duties, and facilitating effective communication between various departments.
Sales Data Analysis (For Sales Analyst Role):
Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data from various sources to generate insights and identify trends that can enhance sales performance.
Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for sales management, providing a clear overview of key performance indicators and sales metrics.
Collaborate with the sales team to create accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
Assist sales representatives with administrative tasks such as preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and sales collaterals to the sales team.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain positive customer relationships.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Monitor the sales pipeline and update sales data in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Work with the sales team to manage leads, track opportunities, and follow up on potential deals.
Order Processing and Coordination:
Process sales orders and ensure timely fulfilment and delivery of products or services to customers.
Collaborate with various departments such as logistics and finance to ensure the smooth flow of order processing.
Sales Administrative Duties:
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing sales events or conferences.
Assist in preparing sales budgets, expense reports, and sales-related documentation.
Communication and Reporting:
Facilitate effective communication between sales representatives, sales managers, and other departments.
Prepare and distribute sales-related communications, updates, and announcements.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitors’ activities.
Assist in analyzing market data to identify potential growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
Qualifications and Skills:
For Sales Analyst Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales analysis, data analysis, or business intelligence within a sales environment.
For Sales Coordinator & Admin Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in sales support, coordination, or administrative roles.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales-related software.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
